Welcome to RampArts Studio, 93 Main Street,
Wellington, overlooking beautiful West Lake, where I create and show my acrylic
paintings.
Over the years, I have pursued my interests
in self-expression and exploration of the human psyche, first as an actor,
later as a psychotherapist and more recently as an artist. Painting for me
represents a more solitary pursuit of the same deep connection to the soul that
I have searched for all my life.
I am an active member of two thriving
artistic communities - San Miguel de
Allende in the mountains of Mexico during the winter and Prince Edward County,
Ontario Canada, for the spring, summer and fall.
My paintings have been described as
whimsical, sensual, alive, spontaneous, loose.
The SAN MIGUEL series reflects the vibrancy
of colour, light and world soul of Mexico.
The DEEP END series is a collection of my
abstract impressionistic landscapes. Landscapes offer me a great way to capture
inherent quietness, spirit and rawness.
The GREEN GROCER series celebrates items
you would find at a Green Grocer's shop. As a painter I take delight in the
sensuality and aliveness of the fruits and vegetables that grace our tables.
POTPOURRI, as implied by the name, is an
eclectic mix.
